The development of a PPC strategy is a team effort: the client defines his goals, and then we provide professional training and adapt campaigns according to the needs of the business, and then implement the planned activities. As in any marketing activity, professional analysis of competitors and audience play a key role. An important part of the analysis is the positioning and communication strategy of your competitors on social media and the web.

Facebook & Instagram

If you want to pre-emptively dive into a competitor’s promotional activities, the first step is to go to their Facebook page – you know the name by heart, right? 🙂 Once on the page, start scrolling down the page under “About” until the “Transparency” section will not appear in the left panel. Click “See all”, then “Open the Ad Library” … and you will be in the ad library, a database where you can see all the currently active ads on the page, running by month, as well as some data related to them.

If you choose not to focus on a specific competitor, but on some important keywords, you can find them in the Ads Library. Small icons in the upper right corner of each ad show whether the ad is showing on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, or perhaps Audience Network. Enjoy viewing, we hope you get some inspiration!

Google Search Console

If you’re considering placing display ads on the search network, Google Search Console is a great planning tool. One of the most important and first steps at this stage is to gather potential keywords that you can later build your campaigns around. Search Console allows you to see how users are finding your website over a period of time and which search terms are getting the most clicks. As you check the results, you may find that some words don’t really work as keywords, but they can still work great as blog post topics. The secret to successful advertising is a deep knowledge of your target audience – that’s why it’s useful to know what they’re looking for on the Internet.

Google Ads

If you’re no longer new to Google advertising and want to refresh your strategy, the Auction Insights section of your Google Ads account can also help you plan your budget. Here you can see what keywords competitors used in a certain campaign for a certain period. The report will give you insight into how your current ads are performing against your competitors’ ads, and help you decide if you need to invest more in paid advertising.

To create the optimal strategy for you, we are happy to add the missing link: our creative thinking and years of experience complement it. Let’s start working together and you won’t have to worry about the above! 😉
